The challenge comes in order to avert defeat – in order to disperse resistance to growth and rebirth. The challenge appears to be a reckless stripping of my persona. But it isn’t. This tragic event is a gift. The loss of my job, the loss of comfort, stability, and predictability is the defense I need against stagnation.
